The first in a series of lunchtime webinars delivered by National Co-Convenor Kit McMahon, this webinar explored the last 12 to 18 months of policy reform initiated by the Federal Government to address gender inequality in Australia's Vocational Education and Training system. In closing Kit shared a call to action for future discussions:
- Bring intersectional and gender transformative practice and research.
- Build sustainable capability and capacity in the education and training sector, partner with expertise.
- Coordinated and collaborative plans of action generate momentum and leverage resources.
- Addressing persistent inequity and segregation requires bringing 'lived experience' into the room.
